Manhattan Cafe (マンハッタンカフェ, Manhattan Kafe) is a character in Uma Musume: Pretty Derby.
Personality[]
A mysterious, shadowy girl. She can see things that people can't see, draw strange patterns with her fingertips, and is always alone by the wall. But according to her, she is never alone... She is always with her "friends". She likes coffee, but drinks it slowly because drinking it all at once makes her sick to her stomach.
Appearance[]
She is a quiet horse girl with long, jet-black hair, a white ahoge, and golden eyes. As her name suggests, she is a coffee drinker, and has a deep, calm, so-called "handsome voice". She wears a black blazer and a Chesterfield coat, with gold ties and belts.

Manhattan Cafe[4] was a racehorse in the early 2000s. He completed all long-distance G1s. After his father Sunday Silence passed, he became a leading sire next to Agnes Tachyon.
- Cafe is the crown name of the Nishikawa family.
- He shared the 2001 triple crown with Agnes Tachyon and Jungle Pocket.
- It was said Manhattan Cafe resembles Sunday Silence the most out of Sunday's foals. So much so, that he acted as Sunday Silence in a drama, Fortunate Encounter: The Dream for Thoroughbreds[5]. The drama follows Zenya Yoshida, the first CEO of Shadai Group.
- He lost his brother New York Cafe in the 2011 Tohoku earthquake and tsunami.
- New York Cafe worked as a riding horse in Sendai after retirement.
- He died of an intra-abdominal tumor in 2015, at the age of 17.
